After the turkey and pie I sped through* Steve Martin's new book, Born Standing Up in one sitting. It's a biography about Martin's stand-up days, specifically what inspired him to start, and what inspired him to stop. There are plenty of great anecdotes, but the most interesting parts are when Martin talks about his creative process. Highly recommend for fans or writers of comedy.
*I don't think you know how hard it was for me to not take the punny route and say "ate through".
